The Congress will be held at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel, which ranks with the finest of New York's hotels and offers every amenity that one can expect from a first-class institution. It is conveniently located, within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal, Madison and Fifth Avenues and central to the Theater District, Rockefeller Center and other New York attractions. In the hotel, there is a selection of fine stores, a beauty salon, a full service business center and Plus One Fitness Center. In addition, the hotel has four restaurants, two lounges and three bars; 24-hour room service is available.
A block of rooms, with special rates, has been reserved for the International Congress of Maritime Arbitrators XIV. Please be aware that New
York City hotel space is very limited during the week of ICMA XIV. Other
hotels within walking distance of the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel are: Inter-Continental
Hotel, (212) 755-5900; Radisson New York East Side, (212) 755-4400 and
Marriott East Side, (212) 755-4000. Rooms for ICMA XIV have not been reserved
at these hotels, and room rates at these hotels may be higher than the
special Congress rate at the Waldorf=Astoria. Please call them directly
for reservations if you desire alternate accommodations.

Travel
to New York:
Most international and domestic
airlines service New York regularly. Any of the three major NYC airports:
JFK, La Guardia or Newark International offer taxi, van and bus service
to/from Manhattan. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes to/from La Guardia
and 90 minutes to/from JFK and Newark. The Waldorf=Astoria transportation
desk at (212) 355-3000 ext. 4585 can make advance shuttle van/car service
reservations.

American Airlines and the official travel agency is Omega World Travel.
Delegates outside of the United States should fill out and follow the directions
on OmegaÕs travel profile that is posted on the ICMA XIV website.
